Think I'm having contractions - anyone awake?

I'm 38+2 and for the past two days been having my bloody show, albeit slowly.
Woken up at 2am to a burning period type cramp, fell back asleep and been woken up again since with another, think I've had about 4 now since 2am. Also just had to go to the toilet! I did make a hot curry for tea though last night so not sure if it's just toilet cramps?
I'm meant to be having an ELCS next weds so not sure if these are contractions at what point to go to the hospital to ensure I still get my C-section and not too far into labour

I would call the ward and let them know. It sounds like they will want you in to examine you and determine where to go from there.

Best of luck, it shouldn’t be too long to wait now.

I agree with @NoDairyNoProblem

Especially as you are due an ELCS. Some people's labours, including first babies, suddenly go a lot faster than the average and you do want to get your CS if at all possible.

Or go in (if this is allowed now, things have changed a bit since my day).

The last one I had was when finishing up my poo 🤣 so sorry for the tmi!
So it's been about 20 mins now.
I will see if they start up again and if so will call the ward...
see so many posts about false labour or slow labour so don't want to be premature, but again not sure if that's irrelevant with a c section and they'll just do it anyways regardless of timings

Rang the ward as contractions were coming every 20 mins and quite painful - they said I can either go in now and go on the monitor and be examined or wait it out until they're 10 mins apart. But everything seems to have slowed down now?! So frustrating !!
