I went to school in the 1970s and I remember doing O Level Economics in the sixth form. Our economics teacher assured us that by the time that we were his age, work would have been abolished. I am now his age and work is still with us.
He was a lovely man, most of us who signed up for Economics O level did so because they liked him and his style of teaching. So wrong about work though.
