I've no idea where to post this! I don't think it'd be at home under 'Style and Beauty'!

I'm looking for properly waterproof waterproof overalls for forest school - for me! I'd still like bright cute patterned ones though instead of khaki/black/navy which adult sizes all seem to be! I have shower resistant waterproofs but if I'm out in anything heavier than drizzle, or do something daft like sit on a wet log, they'll just soak through. I want to be able to literally sit down in the squelching mud and dance around in a downpour if I want to without even getting damp!

Thank you! Yes, I saw those, but they're hand made and the waiting time is like 20 weeks or something insane!

You need Guy Cotten waterproofs. Not cheap, but they are REALLY waterproof, all the professional growers I know swear by them. I have this bib & brace - mine's green, but they come in very cheerful yellow. The small sizes are properly small too, I'm 5' 2" & no issues with length.

I'm planning to get myself the matching jacket this winter.

Although those TinyFibres ones are admiteddly fantastic looking, be aware that they are softshell so aren’t waterproof :-(

Are you sure? It says that they are waterproof on the website.

I'd look at ski wear. Bib style sallopettes like these

I think they’d be water repellent and give protection from the wind, but I don’t think softshell is watertight as it were. I was looking it up today as I was trying to get a new raincoat and softshell seems to be super in at the moment, but doesn’t really cut it if it’s properly raining or the ground is wet. We’ve always avoided getting it for our kids for that reason. Which is a shame cos it allows for amazing designs in a way that waterproof fabrics don’t always :-(

So naturally they're in bloody America! Anyone know of any exactly like them in the UK? I'd still like cute patterned ones (the ducks with the umbrella is my fave design on that tinyfibres website!) but failing that purple is the next best thing!
