Legoland on 31st October 2022 - inset day madness??

we are hoping to go to Lego land for my sons birthday on 31st October as it’s an inset day in his school. Anyone know if it’s an inset day in Berkshire/ other areas near legoland?

It is an inset day for my daughters primary school in hertfordshire but not my other daughter in secondary.

Mine are at school on that day in that town and I've just checked a few others and no inset days.

No inset day at mine or my kids. It’s not a common INSET day although some schools do

Gigihulu · 27/09/2022 21:58

It's not at my school in Surrey.

I live locally and would recommend getting there 30 mins before opening, so you can park up, do a toilet stop, through turnstiles until you get to the holding point where they hold the queue. Makes all the difference to get a few rides in at the start of the day. My kids too old for it now but this is what we used to do.

Thanks @Jagsy

There are Inset days at my kids’ schools in Hampshire!! I guess it’s just luck of the draw! We went on polling day once and it was BONKERS. Haven’t been since! 🤣

voxnihili · 28/09/2022 06:08

It’s still half term for loads of schools where I am (SE London).

reluctantbrit · 28/09/2022 07:36

Some London schools will now do a 2 week half-term and that may be going into the first week in November. So I would be careful and plan wisely.

Inset day for lots of schs in my patch of North London

Half term at my daughters school (secondary tbf so I guess not many would go) it will also be last few days of the Halloween week so would expect it to be very busy. We went Halloween half term couple of years ago and as we don't go very often and knew we probably wouldn't again we bought the qbots. - they cost about as much as the tickets as we got mid range ones!
