I’m doing this next year already planned £250 easily spent I’ve just browsed the seafood fillet beef turkey crown chocolate pine cones are to die for what isn’t used freeze on baking tray then put into freezer bags January sorted with luxury as you begin to save for following Christmas.

Thank you for the heads up as the 8am time slot on Xmas eve has already sold out at my local store 🙈

The problem is the collection slot though. Last time I ordered we had to wait an hour in the queue - then we couldn't pay where we collected it we had to re-queue to pay. I've given up and just do a shop there rather than ordering.

Birmingham High Street users let me know how it goes this year for collecting etc thanks in advance.

Why the popping candy on the Yule log?!

Anyone know if they are doing the hampers in Ireland this year.

Dream Christmas next year food M and S hamper F and M.non alcoholic of course.

All booked in! 7.30pm in the city centre store. Fingers crossed it’s the same as last year as it was empty at that time! Made the mistake of the retail park one last time and it was absolute bedlam!

Our local store has now created a temporary dedicated Xmas food order section so you queue for the crate of food and then go straight to one of the temporary check outs where you are processed immediately.

For the vegetarians out there :
They did the Camembert & Parsnip Pie last year ( same price as well £20 )
My dh purchased 2 one for Christmas and one for new year when we had guests.
We had one for Christmas. It has a big piece of parsnip in the middle that remains hard ( last year's reviews on M & S website also had others commenting the same ) and definitely not worth the price tag.
Our New Years one was not given to guests ( we froze it ) and it was begrudgingly eaten months later.

Ooooooh! Much excitement! I never order because I'm on my own at Christmas but love, love the catalogue and spend many happy evenings looking at it 😆 I'll go and pick one up today!

Oh my mum messaged me at 9 o'clock this morning saying she's placed her order! We're all going over to my parents this year so I'm very excited about the food (especially as I won't be cooking it!)

Yet again, no free range boneless & stuffed turkey joint - they did one years ago and never to be seen since!

The website went live about 8:00 yesterday morning, we had our order in by 11:00. We bought the rack of lamb again - we had it last year and it was gorgeous. Once again no gf desserts. We risked the chocolate pinecones last year and were OK, so are having those again.
If anyone is gf, don't bother with the yule log, last years was as dry as sawdust and sickly sweet - it went in the bin.

Mayfair of beef is sold out already!

Last year our meat eaters had the fillet of beef, which I’m told was good. Veggies had the nut roast which wasn’t anything special so I’ll probably look elsewhere this year. The vegan pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese were good though so I’ll still get those. Quite intrigued by the mushroom parfait as well!

Anyone know how many people the "Classic Vegetable Selection Box" is for?

Just looked up my email from last year because I didn’t remember spending £50 on the fillet of beef. It was only £45 last year. The nut roast has gone up £2 which is a 25% increase!

Thanks for the heads up. Turkey and beef ordered. I can’t stand Turkey but we have a fair number of fussy eaters at the Christmas table and I am not eating well done beef on Christmas Day!
