Best Santas grotto gifts

I have been tasked with putting together a list of appropriate gifts for different age groups for the schools Santas grotto.
Looking for ideas for 4-6, 7-9. & 9-12(might be a stretch with the believing) for both sexes please.
cost no more than £10 each. I have already looked at Argos 2/3 etc. other money saving ideas welcome.
My dd favourites were dolls and soft toys and absolutely hated the tacky wobbly flower pot kind of things but this became more tricky as they got older. No idea about boys though.

Mini Lego sets were hits with my two, games like connect 4 - you can get travel sized, dominos and dobble are faves here too, Christmas card making kits from the range at a push (dd loves crafty stuff but it's usually so tacky), grow your own Christmas tree kit. You can get them all under £10.

Science or craft sets were always liked by mine (however I know other parents dislike them).
Weve had some good board games in the past from grottos.
