Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between wifi signal by broadband provider? We have been with sky for ages and our wifi is terrible, we have purchased our own tp link router and wifi extenders and it still has not helped.
I was reading reviews for sky online and there are a lot of complaints about the wifi however I am not clear if this is down to the router etc provided by sky or the wifi which comes into the property. When I run the internet speed checker on the wifi it is ok. The main issue is that it keeps dropping out a lot.
If I switch to another provider but keep our own kit will it make any difference? We are in a rural area so don't have any fibre to the property options so would just be looking at fibre to the cabinet
