Are you a regular user of Instagram, can you help me?

I use Instagram on my laptop. All of a sudden, whenever I search on a topic, I can only see the first 9 images. It's impossible to scroll or do anything at all. I don't understand why this is happening? Previously, I used to be able to scroll down & look at loads of stuff. It's making Insta unusable for me. What can I do?

I'm not sure how helpful this is: I use Instagram on my mobile but have tried to use it on my laptop a few times. There are a few features that are either totally missing or don't work properly on PCs. It seems to me to go beyond it just being set up better to work on mobiles and like they are actively trying to make it un-usable on computers, it might be part of that if I'm right!

Dunno why they'd do that... Surely they want to broaden their appeal but you may be right.

The only reasons I can think of are that PC users make up such a small percenatge of users they're not worth catering to and/or mobiles are so good for keeping people scrolling that they make far more money from advertisers

Instagram isn't very PC/ Mac-friendly. It's mainly a mobile app, that's how the vast majority of their users engage with is, so they don't put a lot of work into their desktop version.

I wouldn't use Insta on a PC, it's not as comfortable as when you use the app. Don't forget to update it if you already have it. You can also use https://spamguardapp.com/ if you need to get rid of spam bots.
