Can anyone recommend an effective spider repellent spray please? After 3 years of a spider free home, they have returned. They are big.

How did you get rid in the first place?

CantStandMeow · 26/09/2022 21:20

Dethlac works a treat

Tickledpickled · 26/09/2022 21:22

Get cats!

Indorex. Brilliant stuff.

dancerdog · 26/09/2022 22:13

@MintyGreenDream Is there a specific Indorex spray for spiders or it it the flea one you use?

I use the Rapide ant spray around my skirting boards on the outside walls and external door frames. This was mainly to keep the ants out but I very rarely have spiders in my house, maybe the odd money spider. It might be a coincidence, it might not (touches lots of wood)

Conkers and lavender bags in the corners of rooms/windowsills is the only thing that works for me!

Icecreamandapplepie · 26/09/2022 22:19

I was just about to say I heard earlier they don't like conkers!

I use Spiderex spray which works well but tbh it’s more of a killer spray than a deterrent. I justify it to myself by only using it during a four week window around now to get rid of the massive bastards and then putting up with the others through the year Blush

@TheRubyRedshoes they just went away, I think they knew COVID was coming.
