.... have you ever been to a class reunion?

Just wondering as I'm invited to one next year.

No - I would never go

SedentaryCat · 26/09/2022 11:22

No. I wasn't bullied much but I really wouldn't want to go back to a reunion, even if I hadn't been.

Arucanafeather · 26/09/2022 11:24

I wouldn’t go myself. What tempts you to go?

CollieWobble22 · 26/09/2022 11:25

No reunions. But I did bump into her in Sainsburys once. She sheepishly said hi and smiled.

I replied with "sorry, do I know you?"

And my gorgeous husband called for me over at the right time so there was no awkward pause either.

Her face was an absolute picture.

I was bullied badly but I wouldn’t go regardless as the only people I want to be in touch with I still am.

2anddonefornow · 26/09/2022 11:27

@CollieWobble22 love this!

I'm always amazed how former school bullies always pretend nothing happened!

I know so many people who say they have been bullied at school, but not one single person who admits that they have been a bully.

I'm not sure. Maybe I hope it will have a therapeutic effect to see the balding heads, greying hair and wrinkles of the people that used to make my life a misery. 😂

I most likely won't go though as I have small children and live very far away from where I used to go to school.

I went to a primary school reunion once, but no way would I ever go to a secondary school reunion - hell no.

Gingernaut · 26/09/2022 12:14

Nope. Never have and never will

I was even called names by the PE teacher, as I was so poor at PE.

serenghetti2011 · 26/09/2022 12:14

Why would I..i was bullied badly at school really awful
no way would I go and socialise with those people, what would be the point pretend they weren’t arseholes to me at school.

I mean I don’t sit and feel bitter and twisted about it, I grew up, moved on etc but at the same time they aren’t people I would seek out. They made my childhood until leaving school a misery. I would not go
