Mine were where in my bag, which is where I thought they were. The confusing thing was I had put them in the water bottle pocket. Found them after I had wandered round the whole town, asking in every shop and even the manager of the shopping centre.

I had handed her the keys on Saturday morning, after she left them on the dining table. I asked her to "put them somewhere safe". Which she did, to be fair, she just forgot where..

I found them, at the bottom of her jewellery box (a large one that concertinas out, iykwim). The natural place to put one's keys, no?

Oh well done on finding the keys! I still have a car key missing from - er - Feb 2020! We've managed this long with just one key, though. You'd have thought it would have turned up eventually, but nope. I think we must have lost it outside somewhere but I bet we find it once we sell the car.
