Totally overwhelmed, are these all totally different? Which would I find most useful?

You can buy an instant pot with an air fryer lid.

I love my instant pot, use it 2-3 times a week since I bought it about 3 years ago

I use both my Instantpot and my airfryer daily. The airfryer is awesome for frozen snacks (samosas, sausage rolls, etc) if your kids are old enough to use it.

Food ninja is a brand of air fryer - some with added slow cooker or pressure cooker functionality.

I live my instant pot, but we do eat a lot of pulses and stew type meals. Air fryer is for baking or roasting. I'd say if you cooked fish fingers etc for kids daily, you'd get use out of an air fryer. If you like curries, stews etc then a pressure cooker is fab. I cooked a lentil and squash curry and brown rice together in my IP last night. Actual cooking time was 15 mins, but the prep etc was longer. Still, it wasn't 45 mins cooking on the hob, and I could walk off and leave it to do its thing.

What do you want to cook in it?

Are you looking to save money because you cook by electricity, or is is more about saving time and inconvenience?

I was given an Instant Pot and bought an Air fryer. I use the air fryer almost daily and the Instant Pot less than once a month.
