Spiders - batshit crazy idea or doable?

Our current house is over-run with cellar spiders. I don't mind them and appreciate they predate the big house spiders - I'l quite phobic about those, but we've only had two recently..

We're moving house soon and I'm worried that I'm swopping a spider friendly house for house-spider central.

Do you think it's possible to catch some cellar spiders and relocate them to the new house? If so, how would we do that?

I don't suppose you need to relocate your current residents; new ones will move in soon enough with no encouragement! Just leave a few windows open.

I think they will just appear in your new house too. They seem to be everywhere!

I can't cope with 'normal' spiders, but quite like cellar spiders. Where have they all come from though (probably cellars?!)? Until a few years ago I'd never really seen them, apart from a few in DH workshop.
