Glass splinter in foot - removed but need advice

I've had a tiny tiny shared of glass on my foot for 2 days. I wasn't even sure there was anything there I thought it was pain from a cut and didn't do anything about it/padded round the house barefoot. Had a niggle something wasn't right and earlier today I squeezed it so hard a tiny bit of pus came out. So that rang alarm bells to me there was indeed glass in it. However the wound was kind of healing over. Anyway, just got woken up by baby and felt my foot definitely not right. I just squeezed it again and another tiny bit of pus. Squeezed it more and I finally got the glass out.
BUT I am going on holiday Monday, travelling to airport hotel tomorrow. I am worried I have an infection. I did clean the sound with Dettol solution for Injuries - do you think that is sufficient?!
I could really do without the faff of our of hours hospital and I haven't even packed my bags for holiday yet!
How risky is it to leave now that I cleaned it?

This has happened to me before, it'll likely be fine as you've cleaned it. I think an infection would probably have occurred by now. There's always a risk something could go wrong with anything isn't there?

Clean it again with dettol, apply antiseptic cream (Savlon/Germolene/Sudacreme)and put a plaster on it. Take the plaster off at night and clean it with Dettol again but reapply cream and a plaster in the morning if there's the slightest tinge of redness about it.
It most probably will be fine, just being cautious.

take a run to your pharmacy and get some johnson and johnson first aid tape. The name brand stuff. Put some over it and go to bed. It should draw out alot of the pus overnight. It looks gross but works great

Thanks everyone and sorry for my late reply. I fell asleep not long after I made the thread. Foot not bad today thankfully. I think it will be ok.
Still not packed though 🤦

YES!! this stuff is great! pulls out glass, slivers, can help with soreness when you chew your nails too short. also works nice to remove pus or infection when you have nail bed infractions.
