Me, rape survivor.

I'm trying my best to break even in the nursing world.

My kids are kind. They're hard working. They're keen to progress.

You? Are you proud of yourself? If so, why

Please brag 😄

Firstly! Congratulations, you don't sound remotely shit, you sound wonderful.

I'm proud that I am a good Mother and have really nice older teens who are pursuing their passions.

I am proud that after 17 years as a SAHM, I gathered the confidence to go back to work full time in an industry I had no experience in and am doing well.

There are millions of things I am not proud of obviously but I'll leave those to one side for today.

Yep. Crap upbringing. Poor education. Now have a good job, nice lifestyle and DC who people generally gush about. Pretty chuffed.

Sounds like you're doing a grand job OP, not remotely shit. Flowers

Thanks guys.

Hugs to you too.

Brave. Despite the shit times, essentially!

Rape survivor here

Ex anorexic

Child of a narcissist

Horrendous health issues including nearing losing my sight aged 28

Came out of an abusive marriage with my dignity intact

Many other things which are too outing

I'm proud that I am strong and resilient and a decent human being. I am a good enough mum and have learnt from my past life lessons and experiences.

My children have not been controlled and pitted against one another. They are not criticised and expected to outperform every other child they know. Their looks are not rated and compared to other children of a similar age.

My children are happy.

You guys sound amazing. Despite!

I'm a good mother, despite DP who is abusive towards me and doesn't believe that childcare is anything to do with him.

My DCs are now 18 and 20 and I'm often told by friends, neighbours, teachers how lovely they are.

Everything else is a bit rubbish to be honest. But at least the above is really really good.
