What do you buy at Costco?

Going with a friend next week but curious for your best buys and wondering if it’s worth the membership fee?
do they sell halal meat?

Yes, ours sells halal chicken if that's what you are after. You probably wouldn't want half the food I get though if halal is a requirement but other things like coffee, cereals, soft drinks and cleaning stuff are better value than supermarkets. Just make sure you have enough storage space at home!

Foil, baking paper, dishwasher tabs, wash powder, black pepper, other spices, a pizza.

Cheese (huge pieces of things at great price), fresh pesto, vegetables, wine, things I am fanciful for rather than need...
Printer paper was very cheap.

I also wander the aisles agog at the sheer size of the packs of stuff available. Who has that much storage?

Costco (uk) is not particularly cheap for lots of items but it’s good quality , good for bulk buying and you can get some great bargains . The petrol is also extremely cheap but they don’t all have filling stations . We go at least once a month ( live 30+ minutes away ) and regular buys are cooked chicken , large packs of haddock and salmon pieces for freezing , loo rolls , dishwasher tablets , laundry stuff - the dettol laundry cleanser is really cheap as are the lenor ball things . Catering bacon , frozen meatballs , bottled water , Pepsi max cans , porridge, cereals , peanuts , toothpaste and dove soap .

We usually get toilet roll, kitchen roll, cans of drink, dishwasher stuff, washing detergent. And their carrot cake is amazing!

Kitchen towel, loo roll, Gyoza, Swedish meatballs, chocolate chips, Squirty cream, chicken burgers/nuggets, fresh meat, tinned toms, beans, bread flour, booze, batteries.

It isn’t “cheap” but it is good quality at a decent price.

My dd1 has membership so when I visit her I get my fuel from Costco as it’s about 5p cheaper & we are there anyway

i also purchase the large options hot choclate, it’s good value compared to super Prices

dd gets nappies, wipes and bottled water

The one near me doesn’t have a fuel station but the main shop is literally 5 minutes from my house.
Sounds like it’s an almost unanimous vote for the toilet and kitchen roll!
