Help me rescue DD's cardi - could be dough or glue

I buy most of DD's clothes second hand but treated her to a brand new cardi. The first time she's worn it, she's covered it in something (argh!).

I can't remember when she wore it and what it might be but my guesses are raw pizza dough, glue, mozzarella.

It hasn't washed out even after a long soak.

Can anyone suggest how I can rescue it?

Gentle iron with kitchen towel between the cardi & iron?
Dough would have washed out surely?

Thanks

I would have thought dough would wash out as well as I'm sure I've got it on my own jumpers in the past.

I might give the iron idea a go in the morning

Freeze it and rub/scrape off as much that will come off. Good fix for chewing gum so might work for dought/glue.
