Dd (9) would like a smart watch for Christmas. She's had the kids Fitbit previously but would like to progress to a smart watch. I don't think it's a bad idea as she isn't getting a phone until at least year 6 (currently year 4) but this would give her a bit more independence and the ability to text me or her dad. Not that we're ever far away but GPs pick her up from school a couple of times a week and she texts off DM's phone to say she's back etc.
Each time I start to research online I fall down a rabbit hole & get out off by the totally mixed bag or reviews.
Does anyone have one that they could recommend please?
