Fuel rebate scam text

Just looking for advice.
I received a text message regarding the fuel rebate. I haven’t really been paying attention to the news so didn’t think anything of it. I’d put my name and date of birth in and didn’t think it was suspicious until it asked for my card details. I DIDN’T enter my card details but I’m worried that they now have my name, address and date of birth. Does anyone have any advice. If I didn’t enter my card details is it likely that my details will be taken and used in identity fraud. Panicking now. I’m usually so careful but this is a really sophisticated scam 😔

Can't do much without your card details.

One thing to look out for is you will probably receive more scam texts/

*posted too soon, text calls etc as some target people who interact with the links or texts more frequently.

It’s not a sophisticated scam. You just need to pay attention, it’s so clear they’re scams.

It’s possible they now have phishing information and security has been breached re. viruses etc.

Oh and they now know yours is an active number ready to fall for scams so will continue trying different ones till then get you. Not all need card details to be damaging to you.
