Such sad news. She had a beautiful way of weaving words, the Wolf Hall trilogy is my favourite comfort read.

Only 70. She could have written so much more.

How sad, only 70, that's not old at all these days.

She was a wonderful writer, incredibly talented.

Such a loss to literature. Am half way through the Mirror and the Light right now and it's such a great book. I find myself thinking about Thomas Cromwell all the time. The way she wrote really evoked another world.

Ah this is sad news. I’ve had Wolf Hall sitting on my shelf for 2 years - might have to read it now .

I’m currently reading A Place of Greater Safety and devoured the Wolf Hall trilogy earlier this year. Incredibly sad news - she was brilliant.

This is so sad. I hope she took comfort and that her family can take comfort from knowing she left these great works that people will continue to read.

Such sad news. The Wolf Hall trilogy are amazing books. All the way through the last one, even though I knew how it would end, I was still desperately hoping that Cromwell would somehow survive. And I can’t think about Cranmer without thinking of his portrayal in the books, and feeling so sad about the ending he was headed towards.

So sad, restarted Wolf Hall just last night.

Awful news, l loved her books. I’m not one for mourning famous people but I’m quite shocked and upset at this.
