Why don't you suggest that you would get a lawyer to draft up a contract so that if someone has the card then everything is done properly, in an organised, transparent, open and legally binding type of way, prior to the handing over of the card? Seems like that might be a better option all round.

But surely is Mayfair is much rarer than park lane, so the Mayfair holder has much more of the power?

If you get a rare sticker you’d probably only need to spend £50 to get the others you needed in the set!

Park Lane is not rare. If someone gets Mayfair it would be worth spending £10 on saver menu items to get park lane.

I remember this from 30 years ago. They print thousands of Mayfairs and Park Lanes.

@Mushroo I think Mayfair is the more rare one (as I have two bloody park lane now) - but as the event usually ends in 6ish weeks I’d assume someone might want to take the chance of 50k instead of risking time running out.. maybe?

The thing is if you had the rare one you wouldn’t need to give away £50k. Spend, say £200 on McDonald’s items and you’ll probably get the non rare one.

I've never had a year where I've not got all but one of every set (we're a family of 9 and we go maybe once per fortnight) which proves the point that there's basically an infinite amount of all but one of each set, plus a very, very limited number of the others.

I recently read that if you collect a set you have to prove your purchases (with receipts) and then go into a draw along with other winners of the same set. Therefore hardly anyone wins!

Yep I saw that too. Hardly anyone wins as nobody keeps the receipts.

Our McDonald's self order thing hardly ever has any till roll for receipts

If you order through the app you'll have an email receipt might minimise the risk of losing the receipt

Does anyone watch Food Theory with Mat Pat on YouTube? He’s usually very well researched and says that the last ten or so big winners of the American McDonald’s monopoly have been related to the mafia. I’m sure it’s not the same here, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a big win. You can buy the lesser ones of any set on eBay for next to nothing, by the way.
