My eldest ds has come out of school, yet again, crying that a certain boy has been bullying him. I am going to complain as this has been going on for a while, maybe six months or so, but was wondering if the other parents would find out who their son was bullying or whether they just say.. 'There is an issue with your son bullying a child in the class' type thing. I have spoken to another of the Mum's about it, as she is about to complain for the third time about this same boy! Unfortunately the boy in question is very sly and gets on very well with adults, but doesn't really have any friends. I also know that he was removed from another class last year because of his bullying. It isn't physical with my ds but has been in the past with a girl in their class, it's verbal name calling, and not letting people play and just generally being nasty.
Anyway, back to the point, would the boys parents find out it was me amd my ds or would ot be anonymous?

I think it should be anonymous when the parents are told, however surely the DC would need to know for it to be discussed, so the parents would find out anyway.

Ask the school as follows - what if I was to report bullying would the parents of the child be told who complained?
I think they will have to as they will have to point out to the parent/s which child/their parent feels their kid is being bullied

(Call the school without disclosing your name and give them the scenraio and ask what would happen - then look up your rights via online bullyi orgs plenty there)

Sadly you get them in every school as some are little tearaways and they learn their behviour from the parent/s/step parent/guardian etc.

The school must have a published policy for dealing with bullying. It should outline the procedure for dealing with the bully and supporting the victim. I would expect this to be done without the victim being named.
