Vinted question - buyer has vanished, can I still sell?

I received an offer on Vinted for an item I'm selling. I clicked on "Accept" and it says "please wait for your buyer to pay." A day has passed and buyer 1 seems to have disappeared. Meanwhile, someone else has made me an offer for the same item. Can I accept the second one?

Yes. First buyer hasnt paid so item isn't theirs

Happens a lot!

Better to go with a buyer you have rather than one who's been too slow

Yes, an item isn't sold until someone commits to buy.

You can reserve an item if you wish but there's a specific button/process for that which isn't the the same as accepting an offer.

Yes, this happens frequently. Sometimes people make an offer then decide not to buy. If you're happy with the next offer accept it and hopefully they will buy too. The item will still be available at full price to other buyers so someone else can still buy it in the mean time.

I've done this a few times - I really wish people would just say if they have changed their mind! I've noticed some people on vinted are SO rude as well!! Though, maybe not just vinted. Maybe some people are just rude in general!!
