Microhematuria

Years ago, probably at least 15, at a routine consultation for something different I had my urine dipped. I was advised to see GP as I had microscopic amounts of blood in my urine. Saw GP, had some tests, they found nothing and gave me a complicated reason about why it can be present but not serious. I was working in a hospital at the time so periodically dipped it myself and was always present
I have recently started feeling like I have cystitis. This is rare for me. Used an over the counter remedy but still had a feeling of pressure. Took a sample to the surgery and a GP has just contacted me about the presence of blood
I am now worried again
Does anyone have traces of blood present all the time and it not be serious?

Yes, me and my daughter have it frequently, tests and scans done, in my case, no apparent reason, in daughters case she has a slight abnormality with her kidney that can cause it, she’s meant to have it dipped annually. It can be familial.

I have this. In my case it's not serious per se but cystoscopy showed my bladder wall bleeds when I have urine in there. It's a symptom of my mast cell activation syndrome. I get a lot of other symptoms with it

Thanks both, that makes me feel better
I do bruise easily. I can also get bruises on a vein which are start as a painful lump then turn into a bruise. This was investigated and they decided it was weak vein walls so I wonder if it could be connected
