Alternative to centre parks

Has anyone found a great alternative to centre parks that you can go to around Christmas time?

Have left it a bit last minute and lots of places sold out!

Butlins. They do Christmas/winter wonderland themed breaks and, honestly, so much better than Centre Parcs as so many of the activities are included in the price of your break and even the paid-for activities are much cheaper. I didn't realise how much CP gouge your eyes our for every last penny (48 fecking quid for den building!?) until I went elsewhere.
