I'm thinking Nissan Navara/ L200/ Ford Ranger etc.

Any recommendations??

No personally but a friend does (Nissan).

Not my cup of tea but she (and her DH) love it and wax lyrical about how great it is.

She loves the higher riding position and her DH loves the load bearing capacity (due to hobby). Neither are particularly driving enthusiasts - it's a tool for them.

I've been in it and it's ok. In the cabin it's about as spacious as something like a Golf - so not huge and a squash for 5 people (and that's the Double Cab version, the smaller King Cab has seats an adult would struggle to use). Upshot is for a big vehicle the interior is smaller than you might suppose.

It's well built in the sense it didn't look cheap and plasticity but neither did it have the interior refinement of something like a Merc/BMW.

I haven't driven it but you can tell it's not a drivers vehicle in the sense it never going to be fun to throw around corners or one where you'll get a thrill of acceleration. It's a bit of a wallowing ride all in all.

Personally, I wouldn't want one but I'm not the target demographic given I don't need the load space and I enjoy driving a car I can (safely and appropriately I might add) have fun in.

I had a Toyota Hilux as my main vehicle years ago when my oldest was a baby , it was very inconvenient to park .

I had an l200. Its nice being high up but parking was a nightmare and filling the tank brought a tear to the eye.

My next door neighbours had one. I can’t remember which one exactly. Apparently, the main reason they got rid of it was the harsh ride.
