British Holiday that feels abroad !

I love going on holiday. My favourite part is going out for the evening, getting dressed up a bit and walking into town for dinner!
I just don't think I will have the funds next year to go abroad like I want to. Were in this country has that same bustling feeling of an evening with lots of places to eat and have a few drinks and I don't have to find £2k for flights to get there??

Lake windermere had that vibe when we were there in summer

Beaumaris on Anglesey too, lots of eateries and some breathtakingly beautiful landscape, coastline, waterfalls, snowdonia... plus lots of Zip World fun within 30-45 mins drive.

Brighton

I'm in west wittering atm and was in a bikini all day on the beach today. We've got a house in east wittering on the beach and it's beautiful. It's like we're abroad!

Round the corner from a town that looks good too

BoneyEmm · 21/09/2022 16:56

I've done loads of UK holidays, lots of beautiful places to see. But St Ives had the buzzing town feel , lots of restaurants and plenty of turquoise beaches, love it there. It's just soo busy in the summer holidays

Tenby?

Yes it’s really pretty.

Lashing it down with rain right now so thought I cheer myself with this oldish thread.

Isle of Wight. Ryde has a massive sandy beach and there’s a definite hint of Brits abroad. Ventnor is pretty enough to be France and has exotic gardens and Shanklin Chine could be somewhere tropical ( if you use imagination).
