What does your 2yo like to play with?

My almost 2yo is bored of her toys and it's almost her birthday. I could do with some ideas. What does your 2yo really like to play with?

Magnet tiles have been a big hit in our house, definitely the thing my little one has played the most with! She likes to build lots of different things using them - houses for her other toys, 'lockers' for role play, stables, animals, bridges and big towers! They are so open ended.

Paint! Playdo! Tractors and cars. BRIO!

Lego Duplo, small sets mixed together

My son is obsessed with the velcro wooden food you cut!!! He also likes his vtech toot toot friends house and people, as well as the garage and cars. We have an ikea kitchen coming soon from my cousin as he loves playing with the food so much. I was looking at the leapfrog ice cream cart for Xmas too. I keep hearing about the magna tiles so might have to get some of those as well (like my house doesn't already look like a toy shop exploded 🤣)

Game called smelly wellies
Easel with white and black board
More complex jigsaw than peg puzzles
Anything that is mine and not intended to be a toy

I came on to say this - even my five and seven year olds still play with the magnets!

Also the two year old likes duplo, play doh, kinetic sand, colouring in stuff etc she's not really into dolls but likes cuddly toys.

Oh and if you don't have a micro scooter, get one. They can have a seat and pull along attachment at first when they are little but my two year old loves hers.

My DD is coming up for 3 but over the past year her favourite toys have been:

Duplo
Puzzles
Peppa pig figurines
Toy kitchen
Plastic cake with decorations (she played with this for hours and hours when she first got it)

Toy cars, plastic food, books of characters he knows, singing toys of favourite characters (we have a hey duggee stick that sings the stick song he loves it)
