Came across this File on 4 BBC report a few weeks ago. Another behemoth public sector IT project not fit for purpose after £300m spend. All the similarities of the Horizon Post Office scandal. Hadn’t appreciated the link to strikes.

Oh geez we are due to move to common platform in November what a nightmare I had not heard about this!
sounds very like the police system Athena which is the worst thing ever (google that one!)

not surprising really. Conservatives again trying to cut down the number of public service workers and replacing them with expensive IT systems without thinking through the implications.

Agree it’s not surprising. What’s shocking is the lack of publicity and sheer complicity in wasting £300m with no accountability.
