Is this chicken pox?

I swear it never rains but it pours. Does this look like chicken pox?

He vomited on Saturday night, a bit off his food on Sunday. A handful of these spots appeared Sunday evening.

No more spots yesterday and he seemed ok in himself.

This evening another handful of spots have appeared.

They’re quite little though, not blistery. He’s not itchy.

It certainly looks like it.
My Grand child had it recently same rash as that.
Strangly enough she never complained of it itching too much.
Started to scab up a few days after the spots appeared.

Looks similar to when DS had it. He got a fairly mild dose and that was the extent of his spots. About half blistered after a couple of days and lasted a couple more days before drying up. He had one night of scratching. Does he have a temperature? DS had one for the first couple of days.

Certainly sounds and looks like it. A GP can diagnose if you send them a photo

A hint of a temperature on Sunday. Never above 38.

Thank you. If they’re still spotty I’ll be leaving them in my husband’s capable hands.

I'm not sure they usually look like proper little blister filled spots. Could not just be viral. Here's a pic of the first few ones my 10wk old had 😢

Sexnotgender · 24/09/2022 07:38

Well it doesn’t look like it was chicken pox. The spots have all gone. Never blistered, weren’t itchy.

Does look like it was viral. Very odd.
