Been offered a new job but they are going to run a full background check on me. What would this show up? It's made me nervous for some reason lol

Why are you nervous? If there is "something to find" it's best you declare it up front.

Don't worry, I have had several of these when I worked in banking and also local authority. I have two cautions, a fine and I was charged with being drunk and disorderly - it didn't stop me getting the jobs I applied for.

Just be honest, if they ask you upfront if anything is likely to come up, tell them the truth. If you keep quiet they will find out and you won't get the job because you lied.

They are looking for anything relating to sex offences and violence. Anything else will probably get ignored, especially if it's a long time ago.

I've had a pre-employment background check for every job I've ever had - I thought this was standard. Here's some info from the government about what these checks might entail:
