One night away - where?

Planning a single night away in November with DH, but no idea where to go.

Please help!

Interesting/quirky town/city
In the south
Romantic
We like eating and art - so access to those
Nice hotel which must have super king sized bed so I can get as far as possible from his snoring!

Recommendations for location and/or hotel pleeeease!

Dartmouth - try eating at the Angel

Ideas of places to stay (not necessarily in the above cities/towns): Four Seasons Hampshire, Elvetham Hotel Hampshire, Old Vicarage B&B Rye Harbour.

Exeter, Hotel Du Vin - it’s a great central location.
Great shops, beautiful walks and history. Small city so easy to explore over a few days.

Lymington
Bath
Bristol Royal Marriott is where we stay because of its central location.
Margate😉 I love it but I know it’s not for everyone and I don’t think it has a really nice hotel🤣

Whitstable

I'd stay and eat at The Pig on the South Downs and visit Chichester for art.
