You know you can "watch threads" and then when you click "I'm watching" they come up in your list. You can bookmark the last post you read so it will take you to where you left off and show how many new posts there are?

Don't worry, all the people who post nothing other than "ooh, placemarking for updates" don't know this either!*

*should clarify that I use a laptop, so apologies if this option isn't available on a phone
