Will the roads be busy tomorrow?

Just this really. Do you think the motorways will be busy tomorrow with lots of people using the day to visit the coast/beaches or do you think the roads will be quiet with everyone staying home? Opinions sought - I know no one has a crystal ball!

I think it will be quiet.

I remember my sister going cycling during Diana’s funeral and living the empty roads.

2.5 billion people worldwide watched Diana’s funeral if that gives you a benchmark (my DS asked me today so we looked it up)

Thanks. I wonder with all the tech we now have though if people will still travel for a day out on the coast and watch it on phones or tablets or on demand later tomorrow night. My gut says quiet too but with so many businesses, shops and even doctors closing I just wonder if those with families are going to make the most of everyone having the day off altogether and grab a beach day or similar.

I reckon it will be quiet. I was only a kid when Diana died but I remember distinctly playing outside and being amazed by how there were no cars on the road. That said, we are going to the beach!
