We're going on a bear hunt- I thought it was a given he was the dad, and I just couldn't work out if the tallest girl was an older sister or a short mother. That's the whole reason I googled!

I didn't know that! I assumed he was the father too (and had wondered the same about the girl). I always thought that he seemed like such a fun dad to take the kids on a bear hunt but I will have to reevaluate everything I think about it now! (It's DS' favourite so I may have read it far too many times).

I knew...but only because a precocious 4 year old in my class once proudly informed me that I was silly and of course he wasn't teh dad and I googled it to prove her wrong check.
