Why do guys match with you on bumble and then not respond to your message?

I just don’t get it. What do they do it for? A confidence boost or something?

Could be, or it could be that they changed their mind or are now chatting to someone else.

It’s not worth worrying about - you’ll never know and they are just online strangers.

Could be anything. Do you just say 'hi' ?

Could be a number of things:
-the way you're messaging (hi, how are you? Type thing, which is boring and hard work.
-they swiped at the time but not feeling it now.

• not been on the app for days and then it feels too late to reply

-Ego driven. Read a study once that said men have a much stronger reaction to 'matching' and often it's just the buzz of the match not the actual person. Probably loads more. OLD is a minefield don't get caught up in the whys, or you'll drive yourself crazy.

Because they have flicked through and matched with absolutely everyone - only when you match back do they actually bother reading your profile and see if they want to reply.
