Going to London tomorrow, what to do

We have tickets for the 2.30pm showing of Les Miserables and want to make a day of it but not sure what to do. We were going to hang out around Borough Market, walk down to the Globe, Tate Modern etc, but now that’s where “The Queue” is.

Any other suggestions? I feel like we’ve done Covent Garden and Soho so many times.

Things that would interest two teens is good and not mega expensive! I was wondering about the Christmas shop at Libertys or maybe a browse in the Japan Centre and lunch in Chinatown?

Our teen DC loved the London Eye river cruise, but you need to board the boat right where the queue is so probably not doable at the minute! Borough Market also a big hit but the same situation as you said.

The Sky Garden is great and free entry, Camden market is good and DD always loves shopping in Chelsea. They enjoyed being ‘big kids’ again in Hamley’s

Liverpool street/Spitalfields if you're planning on going to Borough? Can walk past St Dunstan in the East and Leadenhall, both should be quiet on a Sunday.
Liberty Christmas shop is always worth a visit if you can stand it in September!

Borough Market was still doable yesterday. The queue goes past it rather than through it, if you see what I mean.

Agree with Spitalfields. You can walk there over London Bridge wandering through the City which will be quiet on a Sunday.

Lunch in China Town sound's good.

What about primrose hill/Hampstead/Camden.

Notting hill/ Holland park park/ wesrbourne grove?

Or ... Selfridge's and explore behind, st Christopher's place/Marylebone high street.

Thanks for the ideas. DD2 confirms lunch in China Town is a thumbs up, and it’s close to the theatre.

Cable car from O2 over the river?

Oh no! DD2 and DH hate heights!
