I'm considered it for my husband. Do you recommend any in particular or are they not worth it?

I got one for DH one year- not in UK though so can't recommend a particular one.
Though if your DH likes a beer, he'll like a beer coming to his door every month. It's a good present

Thanks! I think I'll get him one, but it'd be good to get some recommendations from the U.K. 🙂

I had a beer52 box for about three months. I can’t remember what it cost but it was six themed beers, a snack (eg a small bag of pretzels) and a magazine with tasting notes and lots of details about the brewers. I enjoyed it but didn’t drink that much beer in a month so cancelled.

Thanks, that's useful to hear. Did you get unusual beers that you wouldn't normally find in a regular supermarket?

I got one for DH from Beerbods. Service has been good, DH enjoys the beers. They send a weekly email all about that weeks beer and sometimes have live tasting sessions. Last week's was an IPA called Five Dollar Shake.

Thanks! I will look into both subscriptions. The main thing is to give him unusual beers as I know he lives to discover new ones :-)

Yes, I’d never seen any of them before. One was a box from Melbourne Australia and one from somewhere in Poland. The third box was British beers and I was really disappointed, but I think it was substituted (it was when there were huge issues with imports) as another international box had been trailed in the previous magazine.

DH has the Beer52 mentioned above. I think you can tell them what you prefer so they match beer to your preferences.
