Help! Spray tan - brown soles of feet

Hi all,

I've done home fake tanning on and off for a while so normally know what I'm doing. Decided to treat myself to my first spray tan before a holiday - all seemed to go fine and the guide colour is looking nice as it develops.

However, I've just noticed the soles of my feet are dark brown! Looks awful and a dead giveaway. I think there must have been tan on the floor when I stepped off the mat while getting dressed once I'd dried off. I should have used a barrier on the soles of the feet - the tech had me apply cream to ankles, elbows and knees but I never thought of my feet.

My holiday starts Sunday - any chance I can get rid of the awful mahogany-tinted soles by then? They look shit :( and I feel so silly.

I've already tried wiping with rubbing alcohol, acetone and then a tan remover body scrub which I buffed with a rough flannel. It's helped a bit but a lot of the terrible brown colour is still there! Any tips, people? All gratefully received!

Put tomato ketchup on cotton wool and rub onto feet. May have to do it multiple times but it does lift it.

Never thought of this one! Thanks, I'll try anything at this point.
