Actually had a friend say to me today that she doesn't like Meghan but not sure why, and that it's probably just all the stuff she's read online about her. Tried to tell her to not believe all she reads on daily fail site but I despair 😩

If she'd have stayed away from all the appearances the royals are having to make to show respects to their Mother/Grandmother she would be a villain, if she makes an appearance she is also a villain. I don't know her, don't dislike her, don't like her. Just think she is absolutely picked apart by people who haven't a clue.

I really could not give a flying fuck if I’m called cheap and nasty by a racist, by someone who defends racists, or by someone who denies racism is a problem in this instance.

I feel Meghan did very well to stick around for the funeral and not bolt for the hills. She will have been acutely aware that she might not be warmly received by some of the family or public but she didn’t leave Harry on his own and must have steeled herself to ‘face the music’. I think that shows courage.

There was an element of breaking the fourth wall in the hand-holding in the midst of what looked like a choreographed ‘procession’ of the main royal participants at the end of a highly choreographed ceremony. Whether the hand-holding was a good or bad thing is a moot point - and illustrates the difficulties anyone would encounter trying to live with one foot in civvy street and one foot still somehow in the arcane world of royalty.

Why not blame Harry who has been part of the RF his whole life that it's a breach of protocol to hold hands? I guess he'll tell you there's no such protocol and this is another made of rule to castigate his wife.
