The not so logic of Christmas films

Yes yes, I know it’s early. Yes I know Christmas films aren’t real but this was a pondering.

You get the families who don’t believe in Santa and the kid has secret wish of a toy they are desperate to get that the parents either don’t want them to have, or can’t afford.

Lo and behold, Christmas morning and the kid opens that present they have been wanting.

Now, do the parents just think the other parent has bought that gift?
Do they then fret about money?

Just me that has these random thoughts then?

I always think the same thing - in a world where Santa is real, it doesn't make sense that the parents don't realise it, since presents have been magically appearing for years.

Santa isn't real?? 😮

I always think this! How can the magic possibly have gone for the parents when they come downstairs to find it all sorted for them?!

“Awww isn’t it the wife stayed up all night wrapping presents”

”He must be exhausted staying up all night!”

Yet neither ever mention it to each other

Course he is!! How else do you think the children always get their presents

I hate the,way everything turns out fine just because it's Christmas, and all your worries dissappear.
