What to do in Waterloo in October

Hello everyone, I have a work meeting planned in early October (staff and trustees) and we would like somewhere to socialise together from about 5.30 (just for a few hours). It can't be a pub or somewhere where the focus is mainly alcohol, eg pub is no, but a hotel where alcohol is served (but in a separate area) is fine.

I'd be very grateful for any ideas. TIA

National Theatre bar? There’s a few places along the south bank like that, not pubs but bars attached to other things. Sorry if that’s a bit vague.

South bank is great for general mooching. Sure you’ll find somewhere.

You don’t say how many people but there is a board game bar if that’s not too alcohol centric www.draughtslondon.com/locations/waterloo/ or the south bank centre where you can hire space or meet in one of the cafes or bars www.southbankcentre.co.uk/venue-hire . Hotels wise the Hoxton or the Park Plaza.
