Best olives

My 3.5 year old surprisingly loves black olives. And although they're salty I think having them once in a while should be ok. So here's my question - which one best to buy? Anyone knows of healthier brands for black olives?
Thank you.

Not quite sure what you're after in terms of the healthy brands question, but kalamatas are definitely the yummiest olives! You can rinse them to reduce the saltiness for your toddler (although not the ones in oil obviously).

Completely agree that Kalamata olives are the tastiest. I also used to rinse for my toddlers (both have always loved olives). I don't believe any are significantly healthier than another though. Watch out for the ones with stones!

Kalamata olives for taste ( richer , less salty and almost fruity ) and nutrition , as they contain more “ good fats “ - and thus more calories .
But they’re worth it . ❤️

Thank you all! Will buy those next time. I've read black olives are made black using chemicals so that sort of speeds the process that otherwise would take a long time and gives them uniform dark colour. Hence their small price.
Googled Kalamata ones and they don't look so dark so they're possibly more "natural".
I never bought ones that come in supermarkets in deli section, although they look fresh due to cross contamination with cheese, as LO has allergies.
