Help!
I need 3 references for a voluntary role.
I have a single reference. They can be work or educational.
My school doesn’t exist anymore and I never kept in touch with any of the teachers. I never did college, did my ALevels as a private candidate at a local private school (did fairly well as well) which exists but as I only did my exams there and then got my results from there I doubt they’d even know my name - this was for medical reasons which are now resolved.
I went to university but they don’t give references after 5 years. I worked for the university while there and the same rules for that department too, I left in 11 years ago, I left the job same time as university.
I have a reference from my last workplace but I went straight into that job from University so haven’t worked anywhere else. I even worked there when I split with my husband and for my Mat leave.
Any ideas who else I could ask? The form says it has to be either workplace or educational establishments, it cannot be a personal character reference from a friend or colleague.
For context the voluntary role is in a field I want to work in, it’s initially for 12 months with the hope of a paid job at the end but if not I will have the experience to get a paid job elsewhere.
