We have a dog who moults loads so I guess one that sucks up pet hairs well would be preferable.

Love our Vax blade. Have got a fluffy cat rather than dog but it does handle the hairs well.

I have just got a Bosch Unlimited 7 and I have been very impressed so far! It is so powerful. This is a 2nd cleaner for me but it is amazing. I have a corded shark but this will be for the times I need a quick clean and don't want to get the big one out. I got the one with 2 batteries and it claims that's 80 mins of cleantime.
