New York in December

We are going to New York for 5 nights in December. I have been twice before but this will be my Dp’s first time. We are going back next year for a wedding but will only be there for 4 nights then including the wedding

So far on my list i have

brooklyn bridge
9/11 museum/fountains
grand central station
empire state OR top of the rock
the edge
boat tour past the Statue of Liberty
basketball game (already booked)
Rockefeller centre tree
central park
ice skating
5th avenue
St Patrick’s cathedral
christmas show at the radio city music hall
times square

does anyone else have any good things to do? I know it’s a LOT and If there’s anything we can’t fit in we can do it next time but last time I went we did all of the above (except radio city and basketball) and found we had plenty of time.

we know it’ll be freezing so will put in lots of stops for hot chocolate and to unfreeze!!

If you haven’t been in December before, do take a warm hat that covers your ears! Speaking from experience, after attending a December NY wedding years ago. Absolutely bloody piercing arctic wind!

See the space shuttle, Concorde and go onboard the aircraft carrier

I like top of the rock better than the Empire State. You probably don't have enough time but we did a day trip to Niagara Falls in December a few years ago and it was incredible.

We did it in 2017, it was great.

Nothing to add apart from I'm soo jealous I've never been to New York . As a movie geek I would probably try and visit lots of places that appear in films but you've probably already done that. Have a great time 😊
