I'm starting a new job soon. I already have a job but will be leaving it to go straight my new one.

Which box do I tick on this form?? I'm so confused and I'm not sure why I'm finding it so hard.

I've googled but am none the wiser, please help me 😭

Will you be leaving your other job before the start date on your new job? If so tick the B box. If you are going to have 2 jobs at the same time then it's box c, if they overlap at any point it's box c

Do you get any of the benefits listed in box B?

Box B says if you have had a job AND/OR get any of the benefits, so to tick B you must have had either a job plus benefits or just benefits.

Wait no ignore me I read that wrong. And or can mean the job or the benefits? Urgh, no wonder you are confused the whole thing is badly written.

Definitely B. This form is just so the new employer knows what tax code to put you on until the HMRC confirms it.
