What’s the best way to make more money in my career?

I read that keep changing your job is the way to get paid more.

But then is it unattractive if you’re in a job for 1-2 years. Harder for women who might go on maternity too.

What job do you do OP? I think having a few different jobs is much more acceptable in some industries than others. Of course, you can also go for promotions too!

I work in tech and it’s often unusual for people to have been in the same role for 10 years. Lots of people move jobs every 2-3 years.

I’ve moved jobs twice in two years - first for a £10k jump, second for a £7k jump.

I’m hoping for a promotion in my current job, which should be another £10k increase.
