A relative living abroad has told us they are visiting over NYE for 4 days. They want to see the fireworks in London for NYE itself, but what else would be open there between 31 Dec- 3rd Jan for children?

Probably ice skating rinks e g the one near Somerset House.
Go see Christmas lights around Regents St etc

Are there going to be fireworks this year?

None last NYE , they did show previous event on TV if I remember correctly .

TBH , I'm hoping they don;t , it costs £10 a ticket but the event costs between £1.5 and £2.3 million ,
That money can go to better use this year !

Winter Wonderlan is open till 02/01/23 , you need to pre-book . I;ve not been there for ages , it does get bigger each year !

Winter wonderland has become very very expensive.

Panto will be on (various locations). The Palladium is the big one, but there will be Panto on in all small theatres as well so check closer to where you're staying.

Thanks everyone. I don't have children- so never thought of wonderland or panto!
