Pork shoulder - instant pot or air fryer?

Cooking advice needed!! I have a pork shoulder to cook for lunch today. The plan is to have with roast potatoes & veg today & leftovers as pulled pork later in the week, if that makes a difference.

My oven has finally given up the ghost, so the options are instant pot or air fryer (this does have a roast function which i've used well for chicken). Which would you use? I would tend to slow roast in the oven in a cast iron pot so maybe the instant pot would work? Not sure if it would be too 'wet' for a roast dinner though! Thoughts anyone?

I set the air fryer to 160 for roasting. Shoulder is fatty and cooks moist so would be perfect for the air fryer.

Thanks :) I ended up doing a combination of both - pressure cooked 4 mins and then air fry / roast to crisp up the crackling. It was really good Smile

Managed a full roast for 6 inc roast potatoes between the IP, air fryer & one gas ring - success!

Sounds good!
I'm Kitchenless at the moment but managed a roast chicken and stuffing in the air fryer, new potatoes with butter in the microwave, and spinach and peas by boiling the kettle twice. The gravy granules are packed somewhere and I do n't have a hob to make it on so we relied on the butter. I think pork would have been awesome!
